Information on Education
The pages in this section explain New York State requirements for training for Code Enforcement Officials, and provide information about training opportunities offered to help members fulfill those requirements.
The State of New York requires that Code Enforcement Officials complete a BASIC TRAINING Program in order to become certified, and then requires 24 hours of approved in-service training to maintain that certification.
Mid-Hudson NYSBOC offers in-service training at its monthly meetings, as well as a full day school in November. We also try to keep you up to day on other in-service training opportunities, such as the April Hudson Valley CEO Education Conference and New York State's on-line classes.
